Soup! Make A Pot Of Soup!

Sometimes I just have a hankering for soup.

Add a salad, or some freshly made sourdough bread or grab a roast chicken from the market and added some protein to the side.

We have created a savory selection that you and your family will enjoy.


Some of our favorites:

Sick Day Soup – aka Japanese Penicillin

We were thinking, what if we combined the best of our Jewish Nana’s chicken soup with some Japanese culinary comfort foods like miso and ginger with powerhouse foods like kale? This soup combines the best of both cultures and takes advantage of nutritionally dense ingredients.


Easy & Hearty Low FODMAP Vegetable, Pasta & Bean Soup

Dédé had wanted to create a low FODMAP Low FODMAP Vegetable, Pasta & Bean Soup – basically a version of pasta di fagioli, but she kept getting hung up on tradition, which says the soup should contain white beans (which are high FODMAP).

And then she thought about what it was about this soup that she wanted to present and it was the heartiness – the hearty and nourishing combo of beans and pasta and lots of vegetables.

Once she relaxed her self-imposed classical approach she knew she could use a small amount of chickpeas and the rest of the soup came together quickly. We give you comfort food in a bowl – Low FODMAP Vegetable, Pasta & Bean Soup!


Low FODMAP Salmon Chowder

Our Low FODMAP Salmon Chowder combines heart-healthy salmon with low FODMAP amounts of leek and scallion greens, carrots, stock, coconut milk, bay leaf, thyme and No FODMAP potatoes. And, this hearty, comforting chowder can be on the table in about 30 minutes.


​A low FODMAP Thai-Inspired Chicken Coconut Broth

The fragrant combo of a hot broth enhanced with , lemongrass, fish sauce and lime and studded with chicken and oyster mushrooms is comfort food in a bowl. Super simple to make, too.


We LOVE Turkey Quinoa Meatball Soup!

This brothy turkey quinoa meatball soup is packed with high protein turkey quinoa meatballs – the quinoa is in the meatballs as a binder – and pieces of what we think is an underappreciated but wonderful green vegetable – collard greens.

Our Turkey Quinoa Meatball Soup with Collard Greens is perfect for a hardy lunch or dinner if you add a nice hunk of cheese and bread alongside.

If you have homemade Turkey Stock, by all means, use it, otherwise a homemade or purchased low-FODMAP chicken stock, such as FODY Low FODMAP Chicken Soup works quite well.
